  • Spearheaded the design and development of a new manual weighing application for factories, leveraging TypeScript, Vue.js and Pina and built a custom gateway API in C# to seamlessly integrate the product with existing microservices. It integrates with Hardware such as Serial-Com scales and barcode scanners to aid with weighing accuracy and enhance ingredient traceability.
  •  I led the initial discovery and documentation phase, made key technology decisions with my team and deployed the solution in both cloud and on-premises environments to multiple factories.
  •   I took a customer-focused approach, travelling onsite to resolve issues and gather direct feedback from the operators to reduce potential pain points. 
  • I supported sales efforts by presenting our software in client demos, including international onsite presentations in Kenya and Ireland.

Achievements

MooringPin - hobby project
One of my personal side projects, MooringPin.co.uk, was built to assist canal users in locating marinas. This was built using Vue.js and C#, and deployed with Docker on a Linux VPS. This was developed by collaborating with a close friend who has recently started living on a canal boat.
