American Family Insurance, also abbreviated as AMFAM, is a private mutual company that focuses on property, casualty, and auto insurance, and also offers commercial insurance, life, health, and homeowners coverage as well as investment and retirement-planning products.
Role and Responsibilities:
Main Motto is to upgrade the applications to next version of Jboss Server (Jboss 6)
1. The basic step of migration is the Python Script generation. We need to follow those steps and will end up in conflicts in workspace. So we need to resolve those issues and move it to next tiers of pre-prod and prod.
2. Dealt with jar version conflicts
3. Made code changes necessary for MDB applications
4. Played a major role in migrating and developing the necessary code for application to be upgraded to next versions of Jboss
5. Involved in communicating with SME on regular basis to ensure that the applications are migrated on time to pre-prod tiers.
6. Activity involved in issue tracing and resolving whenever problem occurred during development and production phases
