I work as a SAP Basis consultant at Accenture. I have worked on various Basis related activities and provided Basis support to the client. I have also performed client facing roles.
The project I have worked on:
British Petroleum: British Petroleum is mainly a Basis support project where I have various responsibilities.
- System Monitoring and Solman Alerts Monitoring.
- Performing various types of Transport related activities like unpackaging Breakfix, creating TOCs and TR import using STMS, CHARM, Active Control and OS level scripts.
- I perform quarterly activities like Database password change, index rebuild, table reorganization, database password validity extension, ST-PI and ST-API upgrades.
- I also perform BAU activities like file placements, Maintaining connections in SAP Marketplace, background job administration, certificate installation, client opening/closing and NOTE implementations.
- I have worked on OS level in Linux and performed tasks like starting and stopping SAP systems, triggering DB and Redo Log backups, tablespace extend file system housekeeping, system availability checks, Telnet connection checks.
- Service Now task Management.
