I am currently working as an Aerodynamic and Cooling Engineer at IIT Roorkee Motorsports (IITRMS). The main work is to design and manufacture the aerodynamic components of the car like - Bodyworks,diffusers,sidepods and wings. Also we simulate the Battery Box of the car to determine the temperature of the cells and design the mechanism to cool the cells.

1. Robot Bug - Mars IITR - As a member in Mechanical team, I worked on the design of a robot as small as possible. The Robot must able to spy and provide the live image to the user. This project was under Shristi - IITR under MARS-IITR.I used SolidWorks for designing. I also worked on the manufacturing with the help of 3D Printing and Carvy.

2.Housing of Steering Column - IITRMS - I designed the housing for steering column under IITRMS. The main aim was to build the housing such that the space occupied is least and it can prevent the bearing from getting burned while manufacturing. I used Solidworks to design and in Ansys- Static Structural component, the simulation for stress and strain was done.



3. Industrial Robotic Arm - Course Project - EAD - I was the head of the team to design the prototype of a Industrial Robotic Arm. The main function of the arm is to lift the heavyweight and reduce human effort. The design was a prototype and all the electrical components were ignored. I used Solidworks to manufacture and Ansys- Transient and Static Structural were used for Motion and stress,strain study respectively.



4. Aerodynamic Components - IITRMS - I work under the team that design the aerodynamic components of a FSAE Race vehicle. The main task is to design the components to reduce Drag and increase Downforce on the car. CFD simulation are run in STAR CCM+, Simscale, and Ansys- Fluent softwares. I worked on Bodyworks and Diffuser of the Car. I used all the software mentioned to confirm the Drag, Downforce and flow of the air.



5. Battery - Box Cooling - IITRMS - I work on the cooling mechanism of battery box cooling. At first, we need to find the heat and temperature of a single cell in battery. This was achieved using MSMD and NIT-k model in Ansys- Fluent Software. Later the flow and Temperature simulation of the complete battery box was run in Ansys- Icepack. The simulation of battery box was static at start but later I switched to Transient simulation. Before simulation, the battery box was simplified using Ansys- SpaceClaim. Also the Cooling design was verified using MatLab - Simulink.
