EXIM & Logistics Operations ( Mar 2018 to Present)
- Planning and booking import and export shipments as per shipment schedule. Prepares documents and forms to move goods efficiently through import and export steps and procedures.
- Confirming checklist of bill of entry, shipping bills and AWB/HBL draft. Review freight and CHA charges bills to ensure shipping, handling, storage charges, and customs fees are billed correctly.
- Maintain DSR to track the shipments and follow up import and export shipments.
- Notifying to customers about the shipments and assisting them for import customs clearance.
Warehouse Operations (Apr 2014 to Mar 2018)
- Monitor and supervise warehouse shift operations of receipt, inspect, labelling, storage, packing, loading and shipping. Maintaining warehouse process and material flow. Identify process related issues and resolve. Schedule packing of sales order as per shipment plan.
- Prepare shipping documents for export and domestic shipments. Maintaining job work register and follow up with vendors. Implementation of process time and cost reduction projects.
- Coordinate supply chain procedures to maximize quality of delivery. Maintain updated records of orders, suppliers and customers.
- Active participation in quality circle projects, Responsible of all material handling equipment are in good condition, Supervision of proper loading and unloading in store department, Training of SOP, safety and quality to material handler.
Store Operations (Jul 2012 to Mar 2014)
- Monitoring and supervision shift operations of store such as unloading, receipt, storage, inspection of key materials, putaway and issue of the raw, consumable and packing material to production and other depts, disposal of scrap and rejection materials to scrap yard.
- Preparation daily GRN, Inward Register, issuance of material in systems, Maintain day to day stock report of purchase and issued materials, Maintaining report of Shelflife of chemical materials, Creating locations and identification of all material in store, To ensure safe keeping both as to quality & quantity of material, Proper inventory stock counting at end of the day and month, Daily Cycle Counting, Maintain minimum stock in store for all material.
- Maintain the FIFO system in store, Ensure the store area is kept clean and tidy and free from hazards, Implementation of 5S, ikaizen, Kanban, Poka-yoke, JSA, Design Review, Active participation in quality circle/Dmaic, WPO, Lean Projects.
- Scheduling maintaince and Responsible of all material handling equipments are in good condition, Training of SOP, safety and quality to material handlers.
