Mowing Bayn

Senior Youth Worker employed for the past 10  months, and I understand the main foundations of Youth Justice (YJ) is to reduce the risk of reoffending. The experiences gained at LYJSC office has been facilitated through, helping young people (YP) to recognise and address their risks, needs, working along community agencies and supporting YP to reflect on their actions.  The benefit of incorporating the knowledge and skills acquired as senior youth worker at LYJSC offices gives the chance of enriching and positively impact service delivery for YP. Next step is to find a position within Youth Justice to explore to support the program team regarding daily operational functions, risks mitigation, personal safety, and behaviour management. My position as Senior Youth worker key skill is adaptability and its suitable for the Program Engagement Officer role at JY.
