·         Supported the HR Department in constructing the Competency Mapping for different strata of the talent pool for the preparation of Deming Certification, Aug 2017. The department was successful in attaining the certification
Highlights 

·         Security Risk Management: 

·         Carrying out risk assessment, identifying assets, threat profiling, probability determination, impact estimate,        vulnerability & risk mitigation

·         Security Operations : Physical Security & Security technology : 

·         Formulate security deployment of 600 personnel across three plants situated in different locations based on risk posed to the facility.

·         Ensure balanced protection through deploying man guards, effective implementation of strong perimeter mechanism augmented with electronic surveillance systems.

·         Implementing stringent security measures for minimizing physical hazards & unsafe work practices
·         Handling floating population of 15000+ which including (Executives, Employees, Contractors, temps, CL & Visitors)

·         Traffic Management: Planning, controlling and handling material inwarding/outwarding – approx.  3000 - 5000 vehicles per day

·         2000 vehicles daily entry/exit, including fork lifts, hazardous materials, parking facilities, introduction of sinages, stringent check of documentation process

·         Electronic Security: Responsible for installation of, Command and control center for monitoring video surveillance (CCTV).  Instrumental in setting access control measures i.e. , Visitor Management, Biometric, Face Reader Attendance Machine, Turnstile gates, flap barriers, motorola for effective communication, Hand held metal detector, Breath Analyzer, finger print Biometric system etc.

·         Effective Response system through training coordination communication and integration of electronic surveillance with command and control center.

·         Setting KPI , monitoring progress through daily management system taking corrective action PDCA, aligned with business objective. Evaluating security operations and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory obligations.

·         Loss Prevention: Monitored loss Prevention through collection of data analysis and trends through human int and electronic surveillance. Initiate corrective measures and ensure feedback system.  
·         Emergency Management / Crisis Preparedness: 

·         Ensuring security training and practice for disaster management for all plants.

·         Having plan/sop for all emergency preparedness specific and generic for all manufacturing plants.

·         Risk assessment of potential fire, chemical, oil hazard and mitigation plans

·         Exercising the plan: In coordination with safety conduct regular mock drills, training of fire crew, fire awareness training program to employees periodically, (external agency training), periodic review of SOP

·         Daily maintenance of fire hydrants, fire equipment and its maintenance at store and plant location.

·         Monthly audit of fire extinguishers

·         Maintain excellent communication and relations with internal and external agencies, police, local fire authorities, hospitals and district administration

·         Crisis Management: Have a multi-disciplinary CMT , Incharge of central command centre in handling crisis management and ensure business Continuity Plan. 

·         Security vigilance & Investigation: Carry out investigation - theft, fraud, incident, accident, through incidence response process flow.   Involve external agency if required with consent of top management.

·         Timely report of incident verbally and in written form to top management. 
·         Ensuring Intelligence network against malpractice, Threat to business and fraud

·          Finance: Budget preparation, analyzing cost, and taking necessary actions to control and reduce expenses
