1.Applying coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to decorate and protect interior or exterior surfaces, trimmings, and fixtures of buildings, homes, and other structures.
2.Smoothening surfaces, using sandpaper, brushes, or steel wool, and remove old paint from surfaces, using paint remover, scraper, wire brush, or blowtorch to prepare surfaces for painting.
3.Filling nall holes, cracks, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other filler, using a caulking gun and putty knife.
4.Removing fixtures, such as pictures and electric switch covers from walls prior to painting, using a screwdriver.
5.Spreading drop cloths over floors and room furnishings, and cover surfaces, such as baseboards, door frames, and windows with masking tape and paper to protect surfaces during painting.
6.Performing flat glass repairs and minor structural repairs to concrete and wood decks, window trim, windows, and door casings.
7.Using various colors of enamel lacquer, vinyl materials for protection and appearance of items.
8.Working with clients and internal contractors to schedule the project, giving estimates on the number of hours and resources needed.
9. Ensuring all dust, spills, and other materials are cleaned and removed prior to efficiency leaving the job site.
