Compulsory rotarory internship, in the various departments, for periods ranging from 2 weeks to 8 weeks.
I have worked in various wards, with 2 months each in Internal Medicine, Surgery and Gynaecology and Obstetrics.
During my time as an Intern, I have learnt most basic skills such as IV cannulation and BLS.
Also, I have gone the extra mile to learn more complex procedures not exhaustive to Intubation, ATLS and ICU care.
As an intern, I have also had to do basic clerical work, such as maintainence of patient data, filing notes and pre operative procedures.
