The internship duration was of one month. I did my internship in the production department of the company. My job was to come out with the way so that the cost for shipping of springs to different areas can be minimised.

The company was a construction company which builds chemical and fertilizers. It is a government owned Navratna company with its HQ in Kolkata.
During different phases of my internship, i was assigned different responsibilities which included supervising non-skilled workers and putting day to day data into company's computers. Adding to this, I was as assigned the role of checking the defects that was there in welded portion. I have also done PMI testing through which the chemical composition of the material can be known.

Seasoning of wood
The project is about to devise a system in the wood carrying room  which is able to remove the moisture present in the wood. Wood has the property to soak moisture  once it comes in the contact of it. This soaking of moisture reduces the strength and durability of wood. So, seasoning of wood is a method by which moisture can be removed from the wood.
