Responsible for writing SEO and shareable blogs of 350 to 400 words or more, sourcing images as well as writing social media copies for the real estate client Hiranandani Communities. The role also involves writing SEO blogs and social media copies for the company’s brand Ideate. Besides, the role of a content writer involved writing SEO and keyword descriptions for various clients. Writing short keyword description copies such as 2 BHK and 3 BHK content (for residential projects designed by Kalpataru Group) for a brand like Kalpataru Group for its various housing and residential projects. Writing short format content like building creative posts (one liner of certain character limit) (External copies & Creative copies) for social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter. Writing creative copies such as short video descriptions (by including keywords), fashion hacks, shopping excuses, fashion polls, Monday morning blues, fashion wars, tea polls for social media page of Happy Valley, Independence day, Id greeting, world photography day and sports day creative posts. Content writing for brands (accounts) such as BrandFactory, Vertuals, Hafele, Kalpataru Group, Rubique, Happy Valley and Tata Docomo.

Project: 

Star Plus 

Writing Meta descriptions, title and Meta tags (video tagging) for all STAR Plus shows by viewing promos. Writing short news articles for channels like STAR Pravah, writing short movie synopsis, creating generic and show based polls and quiz for STAR Plus and Life OK, gallery captions and Wikipedia page for STAR Plus shows. Promoting Star Player page on Face book and Twitter by writing posts and tweets for all the channels. Attend shoots for STAR Plus shows. 

Project: 

Writing 350-word articles daily and creating a content bank for sections of the Inside Outside magazine website, a magazine website on architecture and interiors: This includes writing for website sections on projects (commercial, cultural, educational, residential, and urban planning etc)  and Around the Globe sections (Design & Architecture, Homes We Love, Office Design, and Hotels & Resorts). Sourcing Images related to the articles. Writing India centric as well as global news articles of around 200 words related to architecture, real estate, and design. Articles were edited by the editor.  Uploading the 350 word edited articles on CMS and publish the same. Sending a final email of the published article to the client. 

 

As a freelance writer, my role involved writing blogs and articles for agencies (for client projects), newspapers and various publications. 

Writing featured articles and news for the in-house online publication Stock Market Digital. Contributed articles and blogs for Business Review India, Healthcare Global, and other online publications. Wrote and edited company reports and association profiles about the top global business executives for Indian companies and globally. Worked closely with the sales team and provide all the necessary support by attending all the relevant commercial meetings and provide editorial input. 

 

Real-time reporting of key corporate announcements published by the stock exchanges or directly issued by companies, company earnings and insights, mergers/acquisitions, open offers, takeovers/acquisitions, buyback, and investment plans. Covering key corporate earnings of S&P CNX 500, and CNX 100 companies. Tracking news from other corporate websites like Press Trust of India, Reuters, and Bloomberg. 

Monitoring regulators and government websites. Contribution to bureau wide stories and activities such as India today, signs, opinions and briefings. Compilation of board meetings of corporate announcements and corporate earnings. Creating the corporate calendar for board meetings, annual general meetings, extraordinary general meetings and corporate earnings. 

 

Creating content for the website Indianetzone.com on subjects like Nature cure India, Beauty & Cosmetics, Vastu, Indian Costumes, Interiors, and Ayurveda. Other responsibilities included writing business news, product news (For the Trade and Business News section), edited articles and updated trade fairs for Jimtrade.com. 

 

Project- The Machinist- B2B Trade vertical 

Editing articles according to the style sheet and conceptualize story ideas to suit the client needs and write across mediums/topics for the project. The Machinist is a B2B trade vertical and part of largest business dailies BBC WorldWide Media Ltd (Times B2B). Sourcing articles are written by industry experts and corporate. Editing, proofreading articles as per style sheet and rewriting the unedited content. Sourcing images and conducting face to face, telephonic interviews with industry experts who are experts in the field across magazines. Quark checks of the articles and overall of the magazine. Also, incorporating edit changes. Involved in the production process especially canning of the magazine till it reaches to print and delivered to the client. 

Other projects: 

•    Contributed articles for the Times Food Processing Journal, a trade vertical catering to the food industry 

•    Contributed to the budget special content for the ET -SME (small-medium enterprises) section, released every Tuesday in the Economic Times broadsheet 

•    Wrote articles on finance domain for the Economic Times broadsheet especially for SMEs 

•    Contributed to research and writing articles for the pre-issue of the Automation Design, a German magazine.
