· Taking orders from wait staff and monitoring multiple food orders as news order arrive.
· Setting up the workstation with all needed ingredient and cooking equipment.
· Competent in the use of different utensils in the kitchen for cooking, chopping, slicing, peeling example: knives, peeler, tongs, pans etc.
· Instruct other staff in the preparation, garnishing, presentation of food and helping other team members when needed.
· Check the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met.
· Storing, rotating food, checking quality of ingredients and storage temperature all the time.
· Sanitizing and cleaning work-station in the kitchen.
