  Padma Shri Mohanmullji Chordia Gold Cup T-20 Cricket Tournament was instituted in the year 1961 and it remained one of the prestigious cricket tournaments in the 60’s and 70’s and has gathered considerable attention and popularity since its relaunch in 2007-08. The Cup is fittingly named after Padma Shri Mohanmullji Chordia, ( 1902 – 1984) the founder of the college, and an ardent lover of cricket. This tournament is conducted every year and is open for both men and women.
