- Responsible for maintaining and administration of production Red hat Linux servers ,AIX servers and Amazon web Service.
- Experience in configuring ,troubleshooting, implementation and support on Redhat Linux 6/7 , Centos 6/7 and Amazon web Service (AWS) environment.
- Launching and configuring of Amazon EC2 Cloud Servers using AMI's (Linux/Ubuntu) and configuring the servers for specified applications
- Installation and configuration of Redhat LINUX servers running on physical IBM H/w or DELL h/w.
- Monitor live traffic ,Logs,Memory utilisation ,CPU ,disk utilisation and various other factor which are important for deployment.
- Good patch management experience on Linux physical or virtual servers via RPM ,YUM .
- Installed and configured SSH ,NFS,NTP ,Cifs services on Redhat/CentOS Linux environments.
- Creating application and database file systems using volume managers like LVM.
- LUNs creation and assigning from Storage (V7k/V5k) or Power VC.
- Experience in automated OS installation using AWS console ,Kickstart.
- Experience in User management and Identity Access management to resource via IAM role ,policies on Linux Servers.
- Extensively use of native unix command like net-stat ,grep,Scp,find telnet in bash scripting as per requirement.
- Experience of Maintenance Mode and Rescue mode and bringing up Linux Server’s .
- Well experienced in automate the script via cron scheduling and automate installation of service or application via User Data .
- Well experienced in provisioning machines/instance in a fly with Cloudformation,Autoscaling ,clones and AWS snapshot.
- Participate in Pre Production activity with Middleware and Database Team.
- Installation of Apache /Tomcat MySQL or third party tool as per requirement.
- Configuring Network Bonding or Teaming as per requirement.
- Worked with Oracle ,Finacle In datacenter activity such as providing ASM disk,support cases , deployment .
- Monitoring of physical and virtual infrastructure using Nagios ,CA UIM and Cloud watch.
- Involved in deployment of AWS services that’s includes creating VPC,S3 resources,Security groups,Load balancer , EC2 instance and creating cloud formation template to deploy resource in HA,FT,Auto scaling environment.
- Ensured the Systems and Data online, offline, archived Backups on Daily and weekly Basis using Tivoli Storage Manager.(TSM)
- Document project related ,operational related for handover purpose .
- Call log internally managed on CA service desk
